This poem is dedicated to the flitting and frolicking li’le cherubs in our domestic hearths, who are forever the apple of any parent’s indulgent eye. The very sight of the children’s angelic form acts as a calming balm unto the parents’ frayed nerves... Expand

I am sorry I have been awhile offering my thanks to all those who took the trouble of reading my poem, The Maiden-Bride, especially those who were generous enough in offering their precious comments. As a matter of fact, the BSNL Network to which I am subscribed for broadband-internet-service had abruptly stopped functioning owing to an inexplicable fire in the network’s control room at Chandigarh. It’s just become serviceable this afternoon after almost a complete breakdown of its various services for the last four and half days. THANK YOU ALL!

Am not sure that I understand this completely. The rhyme sounds nice but the message is a bit unclear by two reading, maybe need a better state of mind for a full comprehension ...

Honestly -- often it is difficult to understand the state of the poet, under which context one writes; Similarly many writings are also strewn with things of the particular situation -- later forgotten -- even by author (am guilty too) -- making it more tough to comprehend though the lines flow with lovely words and rhyme...

Maiden is naive and hopeful thus anything that relates to maiden has to be fresh and good!

Yes, Lady, they do; for, it’s a natural sentiment essential to human evolution.  Believe me, every boy, too, looks forward to enjoy the bliss of domestic union with equal ardour. However, rarely can down-to-earth reality   live up to the expectation of idyllic romance.
But the young live on hope -- and love --and that’s how it should be with mankind!
